Happy Monday all! I know. It's Monday. And not so happy. But it can't be escaped so here's a joke to kickoff the week. Enjoy! --- Max and Brian were at a bar celebrating Brian's recent promotion. They'd had quite a few drinks, and Max began to insult Brian. He yelled, "Brian, I slept with your mother!" The room fell silent, and everyone stared at them. Again, Max shouted at Brian, "I slept with your mother!" Brian rolled his eyes and said, "Yes, I know. Let's get you home, Dad. You're drunk."

Happy Earth Day! It's nice to see there's an official day/week to celebrating our planet. We only have one so we should take care. To help with this initiative of saving our Earth, I've made some changes in my lifestyle and I think we all should all do our part. Here are five easy things I've adopted--and you can too!--to being more green.  Buy a water filter to refill your water gallons/jug/pitcher Spend the .99ct and get those reusable bags for your groceries Opt in to receive bills electronically and pay bills online Switch your light bills to the energy efficient ones--they really do save on the electric bill!  Use matches over lighters--I love the strike of a match when burning my candles so this was an easy one ;) Here's to a cleaner, greener planet!

Lewis told his five-year-old daughter, Stella, to say her prayers before she went to sleep. She said, "God bless Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma. And goodbye, Grandpa." Before he could ask her why she said goodbye to her grandfather, Stella was asleep. The next day, Grandpa died. That night as Stella dozed off, Lewis heard her say, "God bless Mommy and Daddy. And goodbye, Grandma." The next day, Grandma died. That night as she drifted off, he heard Stella say, "God bless Mommy and goodbye Daddy." The next day at work, Lewis was such a nervous wreck that he didn't get out of his chair until midnight. When he got home, he told his wife, "I'm fine now, but I just had the worst day of my life!" She said, "Me too! In the middle of my lesson, my tennis instructor dropped dead!"

Looking for something quick and simple to cook this weekend? Here's a recipe of my famous (at least famous with my family and friends :) Sweet & Spicy Chili . It's super easy and very delicious so give it try and let me know what you think! **Disclaimer: measurements are my best estimations since I don't usually use measurements when I make my chili so feel free to adjust depending on your tastes! Ingredients: 1 lb - lean ground beef (or turkey) 2.5 tbsp - chili powder (separated) 1/2 tsp - salt and pepper 1 tbsp - olive oil 1tbsp - chopped garlic 1 - 15oz can of red kidney beans 1 - medium can of diced tomatoes 1 - small can of tomato sauce 1 tbsp - brown sugar (I use Splenda blend) 1 - onion, diced 1 - green, red, or yellow bell pepper (I use a half of all three!), diced Preparation: Season the ground meat with 1/2 tbsp of chili powder and salt and pepper Heat oil in a dutch pot on medium and add in garlic, stirring until brown Place seasoned mea
